A Prophetic Word on Election Integrity
By Ralph Jenkins
Scripture is clear: God does not merely judge individuals — He weighs nations.
When public trust erodes, something deeper is at stake than policy. It is a matter of righteousness.
We are repeatedly told there is no widespread voter fraud in America. Yet polling consistently shows that a large majority of Americans — now reportedly over 80% — support voter identification laws. That includes strong majorities across party lines. When such numbers persist year after year, leaders should pause.
God cares about numbers. The Book of Acts counts thousands who believed. Entire censuses are recorded in Scripture. Numbers matter because they reveal the condition of people’s hearts.
When 8 out of 10 citizens desire safeguards in elections, the issue is no longer partisan — it is pastoral, moral, and civic.
God Hates Dishonest Scales
“A false balance is an abomination to the Lord, but a just weight is His delight.”
— Proverbs 11:1
In biblical times, corrupt merchants manipulated scales to gain advantage. God did not tolerate it.
The principle stands: systems must not only be honest — they must be visibly honest.
Even if wrongdoing is minimal, any system that resists transparency invites suspicion. When leaders appear reluctant to strengthen safeguards supported by overwhelming majorities, they risk deepening division.
Integrity should never fear accountability.
Leaders Are Stewards of Public Trust
“Moreover, it is required of stewards that one be found faithful.”
— 1 Corinthians 4:2
Public office is stewardship. Elections are stewardship. Trust is stewardship.
Leaders are not merely elected to win debates; they are called to guard the confidence of the people. If confidence weakens, wise leaders act to restore it.
When broad support exists for voter identification, resistance to such measures should be explained clearly, transparently, and without condescension.
A righteous leader does not dismiss the concerns of the people. He listens. He clarifies. He strengthens what protects unity.
Silence and Dismissal Breed Division
“When the righteous increase, the people rejoice, but when a wicked man rules, the people groan.”
— Proverbs 29:2
This is not an accusation of fraud. It is a warning about trust.
If citizens believe their voice does not matter, cynicism grows. When cynicism grows, unity fractures. And when unity fractures, nations weaken.
Righteousness exalts a nation. Integrity preserves it.
A Call to the Church
The Church must not be reckless with claims. We must not bear false witness (Exodus 20:16). We must not spread rumors or exaggerate accusations.
But neither should we ignore a widespread concern that touches the integrity of governance.
As Believers in Christ we are called to:
• Pray for leaders (1 Timothy 2:1–2)
• Speak truth (Ephesians 4:25)
• Seek justice (Micah 6:8)
• Walk humbly
The issue is not red versus blue.
It is integrity versus erosion.
A nation cannot long stand where trust is continually strained.
“Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.”
— Proverbs 14:34
May our leaders govern transparently.
May safeguards strengthen unity.
May truth guide our speech.
And may Christ be honored in our public life.

When Taxpayer Money Honors God — and When It Doesn’t
By Ralph Jenkins
Our government collects billions in taxes from hardworking Americans, yet far too often those dollars are spent on things that contradict God’s Word, dishonor human life, and propagate immoral ideologies. As believers, we cannot ignore these realities — not out of political partisanship, but out of biblical conviction.
What Are Some Controversial Uses of Taxpayer Funds?
Here are examples from recent budget reviews and oversight hearings:
Millions of tax dollars have gone to research involving “transgender animals” — including mice, rats, and other lab subjects altered or subjected to hormone therapies in federally funded experiments. Lawmakers expressed concern that at least $10 million was spent creating these animals through taxpayer grants to universities and research institutions.
Representative Nancy Mace
According to congressional testimony, at least $241 million in taxpayer funds have been used for transgender animal studies, prompting criticism from elected officials and watchdog groups regarding wasteful and morally questionable spending.
Fox News
Billions of federal dollars have historically supported Planned Parenthood and similar organizations that perform or promote abortion. While exact annual figures vary by study and year, support through Title X and other programs has been a long-standing point of contention among pro-life advocates. (Historical context widely discussed, and federal Title X funding was nearly $286 million before recent freezes in some states.)
The Washington Post
Federal agencies have also allocated significant sums toward initiatives described by critics as promoting LGBTQ+ inclusion and “gender ideology” internationally — spending on programs aimed at social inclusion that some view as conflicting with biblical sexual ethics. Analyses of federal budgets have placed such lines of funding in the billions cumulatively.

These are not fringe opinions — some have been discussed in congressional hearings, public budget debates, and oversight reports. Whether one agrees with the specifics or the context behind each expenditure, the perception of moral concern and lack of transparency fuels a broader debate about stewardship of public resources.
What Does God Say About How We Use Resources?
As followers of Christ, we aren’t called to cheerlead for a political party — we are called to uphold righteousness, justice, and truth.
First — Righteousness Matters
“Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.”
— Proverbs 14:34
This verse isn’t merely descriptive — it is prescriptive. God holds nations to the same standard He holds individuals: righteousness honors Him, and sin brings reproach.
If taxpayer dollars are used for purposes that degrade the sanctity of life, mock the design of creation, or support ideologies opposed to Scripture, then believers must speak truth — not in anger, but in obedience.
Second — We Are Called to Reject Falsehood
“… put on the new self… live in righteousness and holiness of truth… rejecting all falsehood… speak truth each one with his neighbor.”
— Ephesians 4:24–25 (AMP)
This is not political reducible — it’s spiritual and practical: truth must govern speech, policy, and stewardship.
Third — Stewardship Starts With Us
God doesn’t merely call leaders to righteousness — He calls every believer to influence the culture with truth, prayer, and godly wisdom:
“Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute.”
— Proverbs 31:8
This includes being wise stewards of how public funds are used and how public policy impacts life, conscience, and the least among us.
So What Should Believers Do?
1. Pray for Leaders
Pray that those in authority would fear God and govern with integrity.
2. Speak Truth With Grace
We must communicate concerns without demonizing individuals.
3. Engage Biblically
Not merely against, but for righteousness, justice, and human dignity as God defines them.
4. Educate With Scripture
Our argument ultimately rests not on partisanship, but on God’s revealed Word — and His truth stands firm forever.
